Expanding Knowledge of Transgender Health Care

Forward from Andy Rivera: I’m very pleased to extend an invitation to the 2nd Annual Healthcare Provider Summit: Expanding Knowledge of Transgender Healthcare. This years Summit is bigger and better than ever, as we’ve transitioned to the University of Utah School of Medicine. I’m also happy to announce that this year the Utah Pride Center has sponsored travel and lodging for a very special keynote speaker, Dr. Loren Schechter, MD. Dr. Schechter is well versed in full spectrum gender confirming surgeries, as well as multidisciplinary approaches to care. Aside from a fantastic keynote address, we will have various workshops that are track specific for medical providers, mental health, and students.
